Case presentation. Malignancies involving the temporal bone are increasingly common and require specialized multi-disciplinary care. In this study, we analyzed the records of 6 patients with skeletal sarcoma metastasis to the temporal bone, with an emphasis on histopathologic sections of human temporal bones. Temporal bone injury can be associated with severe trauma to the head, spine, and maxillofacial region; most patients with temporal bone fracture have a computed tomography (CT) scan of these.
